Crosswind Precision is location in western Colorado, with all of the elements necessary to give our students a premier training experience: easy access, mild climate, 300 days of sunshine, high altitude, high angles, and of course, long distances.
GETTING HERE
It’s easy. Crosswind Precision is based in Grand Junction, Colorado, and our private range is an easy 25-minute drive east from downtown. We’re about 4 hours west of Denver and 4 hours east of Salt Lake City. If you’re flying, Grand Junction Regional Airport hosts several large air carriers and has many flights every day. RUSSELL ANTHON
Russell is the lead Long-Range/Precision Rifle instructor for both Crosswind Precision Marksmanship Academy and Defenders USA. Russell is a certified firearms instructor through the NRA as well as Active Self Protection. Russell has been teaching the science and physics of long range marksmanship for six years and has taught military, law enforcement and countless civilians. Russell also teaches handgun and carbine courses ranging from CCW permit courses to low light/no light and defensive vehicle courses. Russell’s approach to long range instruction is unique and cannot be found anywhere else.
